Day 1: Safari Adventure at Udawalawe National Park
You will be warmly welcomed and picked up from Colombo International Airport or your hotel in Colombo or Negombo in the morning. Begin your journey to the southern wilds of Sri Lanka, heading toward Udawalawe—a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.
Arrive in time to witness the heartwarming baby elephant milk feeding session at 12:00 noon at the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned elephants are cared for and rehabilitated before being released back into the wild.
In the afternoon, gear up for an exciting private jeep safari through Udawalawe National Park, one of the best places in Asia to observe wild elephants in their natural habitat. The park is home to over 500 elephants, often seen roaming in large herds. Spread across open grasslands and shrub forests, the park also offers sightings of buffalo, spotted deer, crocodiles, and an impressive variety of birds.

Day 2: Thrilling Safari at Yala National Park
After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Udawalawe and transfer to Tissamaharama, the gateway to the renowned Yala National Park—Sri Lanka’s most visited and second largest national park.
